Dr. Paula Plummer is a native Texan. She graduated from the University of Texas at Austin. She received her medical degree from McGovern Medical School in Houston. She completed her training at Saint Joseph's Hospital. Memorial Herman Southwest and HCA West Houston are her hospital affiliations.

She is a fellow of the American Academy of Family Physicians. She holds active memberships at the Harris County and Texas Medical Association, as well as the American Academy of Family Physicians.

Besides spending time with her three children and their families, she is an exercise enthusiast and enjoys the outdoors and traveling. One of her favorite activities is walking her two rescue dogs Star and Eclipse!
